It’s set to be the sweetest sneaker drop of the year – and no, it’s not just for kids
Vans is teaming up with the world’s fave gummy candy to create a collab collection for the young and the young at heart, mashing up the youthful energy central to both brands and celebrating Haribo Goldbears, which are over 100 years old. The range features products for all the family, including Haribo Goldbears-inspired sneakers, hoodies, long-sleeve tees and caps for kids, and plenty more for adults – as the Haribo slogan goes, “kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo”.
There are two collab sneakers for the grown-up: a Sk8-Hi in black, featuring the Haribo tagline in a number of different languages, and a yellow checkerboard Old Skool V with an embossed Goldbears pattern. These are joined by black and blue jumpers adorned with both brand logos and gummy bear motifs, and you’ll also have the option to design your own Vans x Haribo kicks using four new prints through the Vans’ Customs platform when the collection drops.
