Every Valentine’s Day, The Drapers Arms donates all money made to Refuge, an organisation that supports survivors of domestic abuse. The well-loved Islington pub, which is one of the best spots in town for a Sunday roast, has been running this V-Day fundraiser since 2013 – making this its 10th year. Instances of domestic violence have been on the rise in recent years, with the Covid-19 lockdowns leading to a distressing surge, so Refuge is just as vital as ever. In 2022 alone The Drapers Arms raised over £5k for the charity, so if you want to contribute to the total this year, get bookings in now.
