in our fair city we have a ruddy, bloody good time of it don’t we. Lots to see, lots to do, London is rich in diversity, culture and inspiration. Surprisingly we’ve learned Londoners are staying in the Big Smoke when on holiday time. Further more people staying in the city are sticking within their Neighbourhoods…how about that?

We are working with American Express to unlock the hidden gems of our city so we all can use its potential. We call upon you guys, our lovely, loyal readers to share your hidden havens of inspiration. Places that are often not seen on first look, places that don’t cost money. They could be viewpoints, a secret hidden away quiet spot, a simple place of natural beauty that acts as a sanctuary within this metropolitan jungle or even within the hustle bustle of a busy street – somewhere that gives you inspiration.

We want you to tell us about these places in London. Send us a tweet, instagram a picture or hit us up on facebook. All of the places and examples we gather they will then be illustrated into the public domain via a map that will live online. Use the hashtag #LOTIinspire.

So here’s some inspiration for you lot to get started with, a couple of our own examples of inspirational places around town…

London Fields – This is hipster central, full of young trend setters. The atmosphere here in the height of summer is like a festival, except without a line up. BBQ’s in the park with a real laid back vibe, it’s a people watching paradise – expect to pick up some fashion tips.

Regents Canal – Someone once told us Regents Canal used to go all the way up to Liverpool. Popular with joggers, cyclists, commuters, romancers and more, you can’t fail to notice the beauty of it on a summers day.

Get involved and help create something magical.
