It’s always a sell-out in New York and this autumn Dominique Ansel is bringing his Pie Night back to London. And get excited because it involves UNLIMITED pies. This year, Dominique has asked some pals to contribute so as well his own recipes, there’ll be pies from The Ledbury’s Brett Graham, Sabor’s Nieves Barragán, Ottolenghi’s Helen Goh, The Greenhouse’s Alex Dilling, and Violet Cakes’s Claire Ptak on offer.
On the night you can feast on unlimited slices of ten different (sweet and savoury) pies, including Malaysian curried lamb shoulder pie; braised guinea fowl and cèpe mushroom pie; smoked tetilla cheese, black fig and honey truffle pie; sour cherry pie; double lemon meringue pie; chocolate custard pie; and salted caramel apple pie. On top of all that, you’ll get a sparkling apple cider cocktail to start and mulled cider will be free-flowing too. Looks like we’ll finally have the answer to “who ate all the pies?” because it’ll be us.
