UNLEASH YOUR INNER ARTIST & PAINT A BEER MURAL WITH BROOKLYN BREWERY

Whether you’re a budding artist or a total novice with a brush, you can indulge your creative side this weekend and join Brooklyn Brewery and renowned NYC street artist Danielle Mastrion in painting the first ever mural created with beer. Socially-conscious artist Danielle, who’s done artwork for the likes of Nike, New Balance, Spike Lee and a large-scale portrait of The Notorious B.I.G commissioned by his family, will be bringing a slice of Brooklyn to Brixton to mark the launch of Brooklyn Pilsner, with the paint being infused with the new brew to truly make it a beer mural.

As well as the NYC borough being officially twinned with the London Borough of Lambeth, Brooklyn, like Brixton, is a place that’s all about community and is home to inspiring cultural changemakers who use creative action to drive social progress, so it’s fitting that SW9 is the location for the new mural. And given that the artwork will be a celebration of diversity and inclusivity, you’re all invited to pick up a stencil and a paintbrush (under Danielle’s guidance, so you don’t need to worry about messing it up) and do your thing on the wall.

It’s totally FREE to attend the ‘This is Brooklyn’ blank canvas event, meet Danielle and add your own touch to the piece, see below for the full event details.
