Making every day a dumpling day is about to get a whole lot easier in 2022, as not only can you stock up on all of these frozen dumplings at home, but Ugly Dumpling is opening a second restaurant in Fitzrovia. With space for 60, the new spot is much bigger than the Carnaby original and more space means more dumplings, right? Ugly Dumpling is known for its inventive flavours – as well as classic dumplings like duck, pork belly, and prawn & chive, they do cheeseburger, pizza margherita and even pecan pie ones too.
With the Fitzrovia restaurant opening in time for Veganuary, there’ll be lots of plant-based goodies on the menu including tempura aubergines, daikon salad, Ugly noodles with veggies, Thai green curry dumplings, spring roll dumplings, spinach & tofu dumplings, and a brand new special, vegan cheeseburger dumplings filled with a soy bean & vegan cheese mix and topped with burger sauce and avo-lime vegan mayo. Bring them on.
