years after their ‘Love’s Spring’ debut album, five piece Two Wings are ready to release their second effort ‘A Wake’ on the 14th of April.

An enchanting sound-mixture of old and new, combining psych-rock with the celestial vocals of Hanna Tuulikki, ‘A Wake’ is a soul-touching album about love, loss and moving on. Recently released single ‘Peace-Fear’, is a hypnotic kaleidoscope of melodies oozing with redemption and enlightenment.

Two Wings formed in 2009 when singer and multi-instrumentalist Hanna Tuulikki and guitarist Ben Reynolds decided to make something after regularly bumping into each other in the Glasgow music scene, and finally penned a track. What came shortly after was a critically acclaimed debut album studded with gems such as ‘Altars and Thrones’ slightly dressed in psychedelia, and the celtic first single ‘Eikon’.

Headlining London’s Sebright Arms on the 31st of May, Two Wings will play more soon-to-be-announced UK dates. It’s food for the soul and when it’s this good, you can’t possibly miss it.
