to make an appearance on the soundtrack to your next existential crisis, Blackpool based Twin Graves offer up ‘their latest singles ‘No Future’ and ‘Love You To Death’. Likely riding high from their Walk in Circles EP, released earlier this year, the duo breathe new life into the genre of 80s tinged darkcore. The pair’s latest singles pay homage to their forebearers while drumming up John Hughes era feelings of post-adolescent melancholy.

Downbeat and punchy, Jeremy Aris Polychronopoulos and Zarah Lawless achieve a sort of revivalist charm with their latest tracks. Bassy undertones and synthy overtures make for a brilliantly constructed and cleverly layered product. The pair convey the listlessness of modern living alongside the catchy chorus driven hallmark of the genre.

A tad bleak, but thoroughly enjoyable, Polychronopoulos and Lawless have their fingers firmly on the pulse of contemporary new wave. Catch their latest singles and ‘No Future’ and ‘Love You To Death’ available now for streaming and download.
