A trip to London Zoo may be fun for all the family but this summer, grown-ups have the chance to peek behind the scenes and experience the zoo in a whole new way by snapping up a twilight ticket. On Thursday and Friday evenings, the zoo will be open for sunset visits along with Secret Life of London Zoo guided tours; free art workshops inspired by the zoo’s Sumatran tigers, Humboldt penguins and two-toed sloths; harpists playing by the Grade I listed Lubetkin Penguin Pool; and a World food Market selling everything from Mexican snacks to Indian nibbles. And if you really want to make it a night to remember, you can upgrade your tickets and sleep over in one of the lodges next to the lions.
