Turning Tides Festival is back with a weekend of events and live music by the river on the Greenwich Peninsula. If we told you that you could see the young jazzy neo-soul artist Oscar Jerome for free, you’d probably go wouldn’t you? What if you could see other artists like Taloula, Maliki and Electric Jalaba for exactly zero British pounds and zero British pence? Well that’s exactly what Turning Tides are offering. The festival celebrates the end of a summer of culture and colour at Greenwich Peninsula, and as well as live you music you can enjoy free mini golf and hopscotch designed by Yinka Ilori, Camille Walala’s ping pong tables and the latest immersive exhibition at NOW Gallery by young artist Manjit Thapp. And when all that dancing has made you hungry you can get some street food or visit the pop-up bar on the Tide.
