Trullo, one of our fave Italian restaurants in town and big sister to Padella, may still be closed but that doesn’t mean we have to go without because the team has opened a deli right next door, and just after the restaurant’s tenth birthday too.
The deli is stocked with sourdough bread and other baked goods, pasta, pulses, olive oil, cured meats, cheeses, sauces and wine, as well as sandwiches, picnic hampers (perfect for taking to Highbury Fields), pre-cooked meals to heat at home, and sweet treats like negroni ice pops. The deli will initially be open 10am – 8pm from Wednesday – Sunday, but you can expect things to evolve as this is going to be one popular spot.
