NEW CAFE TRAMPOLINE TO PROVIDE TRAINING TO REFUGEES

Now open on Camden Passage in Angel, Trampoline is a cafe with a powerful mission. Founder Pranav Chopra has designed a space to not only serve expertly-made coffee, but to also provide employment to refugees, giving them valuable experience and crucially, a place where everyone feels welcome. Coffee connoisseur Antonio Orria is delivering the drinks using partnerships with socially conscious brands like Redemption Roasters. There’s also a multicultural menu of food with dishes like date syrup youghut bowls from Iraq, lentil soup from Ethiopia, cheese dough balls from Columbia and beyond. From the sounds of it, there’ll be a lot of interesting bits to try out.

Entering the workforce is a real challenge for refugees but through their partnership with Groundwork London, a group of charities working towards equal opportunities and greener communities, and Hotel School, which teaches hospitality skills to vulnerable people, Trampoline will make that all-important step significantly easier for their future team members.
