night London on the Inside popped down to the old Stoke Newington airport to see Huw Stephens and guest presenter Mark Ronson at the Topman CTRL for a little valentines rock n roll. Mr Ronson brought with him indie outfit The View who pounded through a couple of tracks including new single ‘Sundays’ drenched in their Dundee twang that just makes your legs rattle.

Lykke Li played a couple of pop numbers with the aid of her guitarist and free standing drummer which to us sounded romantic and stripped down but wasn’t the rock and roll we wanted to hear. The Joy Formidable made up for that playing insanly loud and putting on a show, impressed! You only had to look at their pedal boards to see they meant business.

Check it out on Channel 4 Friday 25th February
