Too Many Critics Is Back to Support Action Against Hunger

Too Many Critics, the charity event established by Bill Knott and the late Charles Campion, is returning for its 17th edition this June in aid of Action Against Hunger. Hosted at Darby’s, the dinner will see some of the UK’s best food critics take on the role of chefs for the night, cooking up a three-course meal to be judged by chefs like Francesco Mazzei and Vivek Singh. Tom Parker Bowles, Leyla Kazim, Giles Coren, David Ellis, Hannah Twiggs and Kate Krader will all be taking to the pots and pans, and trying out techniques, like shucking, baking and smoking, that Darby’s is known for.

There’ll be an auction running alongside the dinner with prizes including a private dinner for 12 at Kolae, a table for four at The Devonshire, dinner at all of Hawksmoor’s restaurants around the world, a day in the kitchen with Darby’s Robin Gill, and a trip to Dubai with the tashas team. Tickets cost £250 and include the three course dinner and drinks. Last year’s event raised over £100,000 for Action Against Hunger, and by getting involved this year, you can help push that number even higher.
