The Tonkotsu train keeps on rolling, with the group’s 16th restaurant opening in Finsbury Park in January. The new site will serve up signature bowls of ramen, including the Tonkotsu with pork & lardo broth, thin noodles and roast pork belly; the Chilli Chicken, pimped with Tonkotsu’s Eat the Bits Chilli Oil; and the vegan Mushroom Miso. You’ll also be able to order pork & ginger, shiitake & bamboo shoot, and king prawn gyoza; chicken kara-age; and Eat The Bits chilli chicken and cauliflower wings alongside Tonkotsu’s own sake and Minkan Shimoda Pale Ale made with Thornbridge.

You’ll be able to click & collect and order on Deliveroo from Tonkotsu Finsbury Park, but with the restaurant sitting just behind the station, stopping off for a bowl of noods couldn’t be more convenient. To celebrate the opening, Tonkotsu is teaming up with fellow FP residents Slice by Pizza Pilgrims for a spesh collab slice, topped with Eat The Bits Chilli Oil and crispy noodles, with a Tonkotsu Electric G&T (gin, yuzu, sansho pepper & tonic) also hitting the Slice menu too.
