Ahead of Tonkotsu Shoreditch opening, the ramen masters have teamed up with their new neighbour, Visions Canteen, for a pretty special new sandwich. It’s called ‘The Shogun Assassin’ and it’s going to be on the menu at Visions Canteen for two weeks from Monday 7th October, priced at £8. The stacked sandwich is made using the chashu from Tonkotsu’s Tokyo ramen, kewpie, bulldog sauce (the sauce used on okonomiyaki), pickled red cabbage, takana (pickled mustard leaf), and shredded iceberg lettuce sandwiched between toasted white bread.
PLUS, anyone who buys The Shogun Assassin will also receive a voucher for a free ramen or hiyashi, which can be exchanged at Tonkotsu Shoreditch when it opens in late October. Not a bad deal at all!
