tom kerridge to open restaurant at the corinthia hotel

First it was on, then it was off…. and now it’s back on again! Yes, after announcing way back in December 2016 that Tom Kerridge was to open his first London restaurant at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel, the deal was then said to be off in October 2017 much to everyone’s disappointment.

Now he’s back, but he’s instead partnered with the 5 star Corinthia Hotel in Central London and now we’ve got some more deets. The restaurant is called Kerridge’s Bar & Grill and it’s opening this September. It’s set to be a relaxed British brasserie, so similar in style to the Hand and Flowers, with dishes including glazed omelette lobster thermidor, fish and chips with pease pudding, tartare sauce and matson spiced sauce, and brown butter tart with buttermilk ice cream. The dining room is being given a big makeover by David Collins Studio (who else?) with a rotisserie bar, fridges showcasing cuts of meat from Tom’s own The Butcher’s Tap, and a glass drinks cellar, so this looks like a big upgrade all round for The Corinthia. Safe to say this will be one hot opening.

Opens Mon 10th September 2018
Whitehall Pl, London SW1A 2BD
