For
all you guaranteed-to-be-on-the-naughty-listers, we have found the perfect way to earn a year’s worth of brownie points with that old man in the big red suit (that’s Santa we’re talking about here folks) and do your good deed just in time for Christmas. What, did you think we were just going to let you get a lump of coal? NEVER. We care too much about you to let that ever happen. On 14th December, world famous Eco-chef and food waste activist Tom Hunt will be hosting the alternative Christmas Feast at Borough Market.
A feast you say? Well we’re in. The ‘Feast of the Seven Fishes’ will be created using surplus ingredients that would otherwise be given the boot (think the undateables of the food world: the wonky veg, the blemished fruits). Served up banquet style, dishes will feature hearty fish stews and foraged salads for you to tuck right into. What’s more, 50% of the profits will go to food waste charity, FareShare.
We can’t say fairer than that.
