Tom Holland Is Heading to the West End to Star in Romeo & Juliet

The former Billy Elliot star is back on stage

He already has one iconic role to his name in Peter Parker aka Spiderman, and now Tom Holland is taking on another this summer in the shape of Romeo. This version of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet is being directed by Jamie Lloyd, who’s got a string of critically acclaimed productions to his name, most recently the award-winning revival of Sunset Boulevard starring Nicole Scherzinger, so we should be expecting something pretty special.

No other cast members have been announced yet for the show at the Duke of York’s Theatre but if Tom Holland is enough of a draw for you, you can sign up for priority booking, which opens at 8am on Tues 13th February with general sale following at 12pm the same day. The Jamie Lloyd Company is also committed to accessibility, so there’ll be 10,000 tickets priced at £25 and under, half of which are reserved for under 30s, key workers and people receiving benefits.
