titu brings gyoza to mayfair

We bloody love a dumpling so any news involving the little beggars is welcome news indeed. Well how about a brand new gyoza specialist, Titu, which has just opened in Mayfair’s Shepherd Market? We’re already sold. The 16 seater spot not only has fresh handmade gyoza but also Asian salads, snacks, and an interesting sounding breakfast menu (it’s open from 7:30am).

On the breakfast front there’ll be gluten-free green tea pancakes and ouef à la coque, asparagus soldiers and watercress, while gyoza flavours range from wagyu beef & black pepper to spicy prawn to asparagus & shitake. Snacks and salads include crispy chicken wings, crunchy prawns, baby squid, and soft shell crab salad and there’s also tonka bean beignets for dessert.

Sounds good to us so let’s just hope it can last longer than the short-lived Gyoza Bar in Covent Garden.
