BURNOUT IS THE NEW EPIDEMIC, LEARN TO LIVE A LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS AT THE TIMES+ LIFE LESSONS FESTIVAL

We’ve come out of a global pandemic but there’s still a lot going on in the world at the moment – one glance at the news is enough to send stress levels right back up – so it’s no wonder burnout is on the rise. The Times+ Life Lessons Festival with The Times & Sunday Times is here to help tackle that threat by exploring different ways we can learn to live and thrive in a post pandemic world.

Taking place over three days in King’s Cross, this fully inclusive, community-wide event features over 100 thought leaders and brilliant minds to explore stories, ideas and attitudes alongside exclusive immersive experiences designed to help you live a life without limits. The likes of Louis Theroux, Anya Hindmarch CBE, Steven Bartlett, Paloma Faith, Caitlin Moran, Jay Blades MBE, Elizabeth Day, Lemn Sissay OBE, David Gandy, Sathnam Sanghera and Kate Adie CBE will be appearing alongside mentors in health, wellbeing, culture and business and leaders in travel, sport and adventure, to discuss their well-informed stories and life lessons. If you want something a little more personal, there are masterclass sessions on topics like ‘How to overcome imposter syndrome’, ‘How to get your glow back’ and ‘How to build a healthy brain’.

There are also a host of interactive experiences for you to get involved in too, including a world-first Sensory Slowdown, a unique multi-sensory immersive journey designed to help the mind switch off; a digital Rewriting Extinction gallery ‘Stories to Save the World’ sponsored by DUG which uses storytelling to inspire planet positive action; taster sessions from breathwork master Stuart Sandeman, movement specialist Roger Frampton and FaceGym; conceptual art installations from Robert Montgomery and Sophie Tea, a story telling journal by SoulKind and the much loved inspirational quotes from All On The Board.  You can refuel in between all those activities at The Terrace and The Supernacular Bar, or just kick back with a picnic in The Garden.

Tickets cost £45 and include access to all the festival spaces, immersive experiences and art installations, and then you can curate your day by booking additional talks and masterclasses that take your fancy for free on top.
