They’ve got a taco truck in London Bridge, they’ve done a residency in Clerkenwell and now Tigre Tacos is going perm with a new restaurant in Stokey. The Tigre team, led by head chef Ramon Ramos, is taking the spot where Fanny’s Kebabs is above mezcal bar Doña run by Thea Cumming and Lucia Massey. The taqueria and bar will function as two parts of the same venue, so you’ll be able to eat tacos in the restaurant and order them downstairs at Doña.
The menu will be inspired by 70s Southern California and will include king prawn & roasted pineapple salsa camarones tacos; courgette, baby corn & hibiscus flowers with salsa verde & creme fraiche; octopus ceviche on blue tostada; and homemade taco waffle with soft serve ice cream. Throw in some mezcal cocktails from the bar and you’ve got yourself a party.
