Siu mei specialists Three Uncles were supposed to be one of the traders inside the Upper Place above the Nag’s Head Market in Holloway but the project has been put on hold due to ongoing planning and licensing issues with Islington Council. Luckily Three Uncles has found a new site in the City, so they’ll be opening their own standalone restaurant.
Founded by three friends who grew up eating roast meats, Three Uncles will serve up traditional Cantonese roast duck, crispy pork belly and char sui pork as well as Hainan chicken rice, lo mein noodles, dumplings and buns, with some more hot and cold grab & go specials. And Three Uncles is on soft launch until the end of August, knocking 50% OFF food.
