Acclaimed Cocktail Bar Three Sheets Is Coming to Soho

Max and Noel Venning are opening a Central London outpost of their renowned cocktail bar

Three Sheets in Dalston is not only one of the best cocktail bars in London, it’s currently the seventh best bar on the UK’s Top 50 Cocktail Bars list and it’s also featured on the World’s 50 Best Bars list for a number of years. Come March, there’ll be more Three Sheets to go around as owners Max and Noel Venning (who also run Little Mercies in Crouch End) are opening a second site in Soho.

The Soho bar will be open all day, serving Dead Good coffee and pastries in the morning before transitioning into lunch, dinner and drinks, with dishes like salt beef sandwiches, triple-cooked chips, oysters, and croquettes from ex-Lyle’s chef and butcher William Blank.

The drinks list will nod to the original bar and its signature style but not replicate it, with serves such as a French 75 (with gin, clarified lemon, Moscato, orange flower and verjus), Scottish Coffee (with buttered Scotch, salted coffee and shortbread cream) and Mango Ice Tea (with rum, pickled mango and cloud & lapsang teas). For those who prefer wine, there’ll be a short list including six champagnes by the glass. And with retractable doors opening up the street to drinkers, it’ll no doubt be a popular place for some al fresco drinks once the weather warms up.

Opens March 2024
