Dutch-born, Paris-based artist Thomas Azier builds anticipation for his forthcoming sophomore album with his latest track ‘Winners’. With the piano arrangement taking centre stage looping around his vocals, Azier is definitely moving in a different direction from his largely electronic debut LP Hylas. It’s a simple video, moving around Azier in close-up before panning out to see him as a whole, but it perfectly mirrors the progression of the track from the gentle opening keys to the powerful crescendo.
