Mon 4th December | Chemical Brothers + Friends at EartH (Hackney)
Celebrating the Paused in Cosmic Reflection book, one of our Books of the Year for 2023, fans are in for a special evening with one of the most influential electronic acts of all time for an exclusive In Conversation event. Special guests include guest chair Miranda Sawyer, co-author Robin Turner, contributor and fellow DJ Justin Robertson and long-term collaborator and artistic director of their iconic music videos and live shows, Adam Smith.
Tues 5th December | Oracle Sisters at Village Underground
Parisian indie trio Oracle Sisters are heading to the east London cultural hub to perform a variety of otherworldly melodies from their debut album Hydranism. Fans are in for a treat if their recent performance outside Rough Trade West on Record Store Day back in April is anything to go by.
Mon 11th December | Yeule at Outernet
Showcasing their new album ‘softscars’, multi-dimensional artist Yeule hits the Outernet stage this December for a night of unique soundscape and ethereal vocals. The album, a Rough Trade Album of the Year for 2023, is truly their most vulnerable yet, making this performance one not to miss.
Tues 12th December | Daniel Avery at Rough Trade East
To celebrate 10 years since the release of his debut studio album Drone Logic, the influential British DJ and producer is joined by host Kate Hutchinson and special guests Erol Alkan and producer James Greenwood for a night In Conversation and album signing.
Weds 13th December | CIVIC at MOTH Club
Catch this five-piece garage rock band for what’s bound to be an energetic, raw, infectious and captivating performance. The Melbourne-based band were inducted into our On The Rise curation with album Taken By Force, released in early 2023 and graced the Rough Trade tent at Wide Awake festival for an album signing this summer.
Thurs 14th December | Sad Club Records: Ellie Bleach, Kitty Kitz, Luce Rushton + Symbol Soup at Rough Trade East
It’s showcase night for our friends at London independent label Sad Club Records. Presenting the ultimate Christmas party of 2023, attendees can expect a truly brilliant lineup, complete with covers of festive classics, costumes and karaoke, plus a decent selection of beer from our excellent in-house partner Signature Brew.
Fri 15th December | Smoke Fairies at Rough Trade East
British folk-blues duo Katherine Blamire and Jessica Davies will be hitting up Rough Trade East with an in-store live performance and signing to celebrate the release of their latest album. Carried In Sound pursues more of that warm and ethereal aesthetic the pair have cultivated since their earliest beginnings. Fans are in for a truly special night.
