One of London’s most iconic music venues is hoping to make a comeback. Back in the day, Crystal Palace Bowl (or maybe you know it as the Rusty Laptop) hosted music legends like Elton John, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd and The Beach Boys. After more than a decade lying dormant, it hopes to welcome live music back by becoming a covid-safe outdoor venue.
#BackTheBowl is the new crowdfunding campaign launched by The Crystal Palace Park Trust to help repair the stage and create a new community hub. This year the venue also celebrates its 60th birthday so what better way to mark the occasion than by getting people back on the stage. And we don’t know about you but we’re pretty keen to start enjoying things IRL again, so let’s get pledging.
