Clapton becoming quite the place? The pubs opening up are making this part of town one hell of a summer hangout. First up was The Clapton Hart opening then The Start by Hackney Downs transformed what was The Three Sisters and now we’ve got The Windsor Castle in the hood. That’s a bloody pub crawl right there!

From the team behind Birthdays in Dalston, the great big Victorian pub on Lower Clapton Road may be a little rough around the edges but don’t let that put you off. You’ll find Meantime London Pale Ale, London Lager and Yakima Red, Blue Moon, Brooklyn and a selection of more standard lagers on tap. There is also a garden and they serve up pretty decent pub grub like this here roast, see you there!
