SWIMMING TAPES | SET THE FIRE
Since making a splash with their debut single, ‘Souvenirs’, a few months ago, we’ve eagerly been awaiting Swimming Tapes next offering and ‘Set The Fire’ certainly doesn’t disappoint. The glistening new track is nostalgic in sound and oozes summer. Charming and infectious; we’ve definitely fallen head over heels for Swimming Tapes.
FREE MONEY | WHAT DID I MISS?
Rising out of East London, Free Money are the latest kids on the block and have just shared new track ‘What Did I miss?’. Making their mark, this track is punchy with persistent drums and dirty riffs, but somehow breezy vocals break through the wall of noise and giving the track a summer tinge.
CAIROBI | LUPO
Ahead of the release of their debut LP, London four piece Cairobi have released new single ‘Lupo’. Lying between psych and pop this track takes melodic lines and chops them up with sudden key changes and synths. Injecting life into what could be same old sound, Cairobi bring out the big guns and the fun for Lupo.
H U S H! | TEENAGE WEEKENDS
London band H U S H! new track ‘Teenage Weekends’ could be ripped straight from the 80s. With shoegaze guitars, hazy vocals and slightly melodramatic undertones, ‘Teenage Weekends’ still manages to shine bright and will have you hooked.
ANIMALI | WHO?
Taken from their EP, Animali’s new track ‘Who?’ is psychedelic pop as you want it. Addictive with polished vocals, it’s got everything from weird synths to beating drums. Pulling you in right from the beginning, you’ll have this track spinning all day long.
