SUNFLOWER BEAN | WALL WATCHER

Ahead of the release of their debut album, Human Ceremony, next year, New York trio Sunflower Bean have released ‘Wall Watcher’. With psych rock influences and  heavy guitar riffs, falsetto vocals and a bad ass bass line, the track has a real edgy feel. Totally addictive, we can’t wait for their album.

VHS COLLECTION | LEAN

Synthpop outfit, VHS Collection have dropped new single ‘Lean’ from their debut EP. Filled with synthesizer loops and catchy vocals, it’s  got a nostalgic sound, a track you can lean back and will never get bored of.

BRAVES | DROPOUT

It might surprise that Braves are from OZ, because that surf sound is a distant memory with punky track ‘Dropout’. With heavy guitar riffs, grungy vocals and lyrics filled with angst its everything a punk anthem should be.

ISLAND | STARGAZER

Oxford quartet, Island’s single ‘Stargazer’ is pretty damn hypnotic. With no obvious hooks or catchy lyrics, it’s a pretty odd one, but the guitars slowly pull you in and with raw confessional vocals, it feels like a drug, addictive and full of emotion. It’s just beautiful and we’re hooked.

RINGO DEATHSTARR | GUILT

Shoegazer’s Ringo Deathstarr are back with ‘Guilt’ and the texan trio have done good. Taking their sound to new levels, this track is energetic and sparse all at once. Hook laden this track is driven by the guitars, and heavy drums, but only to be contrasted against the airy vocals. It’s exciting and music to our ears.
