INDECISION

Shura’s new track Indecision made its way into our inbox this week and we couldn’t be happier with it. The 80s laced track – who’s intro instantly calls to mind Madonna’s Holiday – has an enchanting juxtaposition between its downbeat lyrics about a troubled relationship and upbeat instrumental. There’s something wonderful about a sad song you can dance to isn’t there?

PAPERWHITE | PIECES

Brooklyn-based duo Paperwhite have unveiled their fourth track this year, the effortlessly uplifting Pieces. Taken from their upcoming EP Magic – due in November – Pieces feels like it’s been torn straight out of the iconic 80’s teen film The Breakfast Club.

STILL PARADE | BREATHE

We gave you some ‘dream pop’ in last week’s NOISE BOX in the form of London-based singer/songwriter Aaron, and now we’re showcasing some ‘dream folk’. Reminding us immediately of The Cinematic Orchestra in terms of sound, Still Parade’s Breathe is a brilliantly-crafted chill out track that takes you on a journey from start to finish.

MILK BONE | COCONUT WATER

Prepare to be swept away by Montreal-based female pop duo Milk Bone, who’s new track Coconut Water is a blissful summery ode to waiting around for someone to love.

TV ON THE RADIO | CAREFUL YOU

The American indie rock group have debuted Careful You this week; a Phil Collins-esque track that marks a slight departure from the band’s more traditional rocky sound of their previous efforts.
