| THE GLOW

A cleaned up version of the demo that surfaced last year, The Glow is a stunning slice of synthpop from newcomer Monogem. Packed with catchy melodies and inspired lyrics, we’re looking forward to seeing what she has planned next for us.

THE DEALER | FOR A NIGHT.FEAT SHELLS

Described as a track that would “feel at home in a smoky bar in Paris,” we’re finding ourselves hard-pressed to find a better description for The Dealer’s latest single. In fact, we’re hoping to test out that theory, if anyone wants to grab us some Eurostar tickets…

VÉRITÉ | WEEKEND

Although she may call to mind the likes of Lana Del Rey and Tove Lo thanks to her melodramatic lyrics and vocal tone, if you take the time to delve a little deeper it becomes clear that we might – dare we say it – have a new star on our hands with Verite.

CAJSA SIIK | INSIDE A BOX

The follow up to her 2012 EP, Cajsa Siik’s latest effort proves the Swede knows her way around a hook, not that we should find that surprising considering the country’s reputation for perfect pop. This track Inside A Box – all proves that we have some serious talent on our hands.

WYLES & SIMPSON | STORMY SKIES

If you like a little bit of soul injected into your indie-pop, then look no further than Stormy Skies. Packed full of a smorgasbord of genres, we can’t help but feel that the final twenty seconds – which sees the track stripped down to its bones – should have been utilised more throughout the song. Although still a brilliant track, it just goes to show that less really can be more.
