| LAY WITH ME

Released ahead of their debut album Sirens – due in February – Sydney twosome Left’s latest track is a gorgeous blend of electronica and percussion layered with effortless sounding vocals that give everyone else in the genre a serious run for their money.

BETS | DON’T GIVE A FUCK

Mellow in everything but mood, the striking juxtaposition between Don’t Give A Fuck’s scathing lyrics and chilled out 70s-style beat make for one of the most intriguing efforts to fall into our hands this week.

ARGONAUT&WASP | HIGHER GROUND

Described as “MGMT’s brand of psychedelic indie meeting Kaytranada’s world of R&B-infused deep house,” Argonaut&Wasp’s latest track essentially encompasses that to a tee. The R&B touch may be light, but it’s just enough to differentiate the track from an already crowded genre by giving it an edge that sees it almost drifting into Giorgio Morodo’s territory on the effortlessly funky chorus.

MOON KING | ROWSWELL

The second track on this week’s list with a distinct 70s vibe, Toronto-based duo Moon King’s lead single from their forthcoming debut album sees the pair blur the lines between dream-pop and indie-pop surprisingly well.

PINKSHINYULTRABLAST | HOLY FOREST

Lastly, we have a track from Russian-based band Pinkshinyultrablast that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. We have a new favourite band, and yes thats right, they are from Russia!
