The Vietnamese Kitchen Group Is Bringing Kêu to London Bridge

It’ll be the fourth Kêu site in the capital

The Vietnamese Group, which also operates Cay Tre and Viet Grill in Shoreditch, already has three Kêu locations in town, in the City, Shoredtich and Soho, and now it’s going south of the river and opening a fourth in London Bridge. Taking over the old Patty & Bun site, this two-floor Kêu will have a bigger menu than the other sites, taking inspo from Vietnam’s late-night noodle bars and the street food of Saigon.

The banh mi that Kêu has become most well-known for won’t be going anywhere – the classic includes Vietnamese mortadella, chicken liver paté, pork belly and ham terrine, with other filling options like BBQ pork, mackerel stew, kimchi roast chicken, and smoky aubergine – so there’ll be lots to grab and go.

If you’re planning to sit in, there’ll also be a range of rice bowls and noodle dishes on offer, like hủ tiếu vermicelli noodles (flown in from Saigon) with homemade sweet soya sauce; pork three ways; prawn; celery; slow-poached egg; and broth, and homemade egg noodles with five spice pork; lettuce; prawn; pork & prawn dumpling; and broth.
