The UK’s Largest Kebab House Is Coming to Oxford Street

The three-floor Kebhouze is promising an immersive kebab experience

After opening more than 24 stores across Italy and Spain, kebab chain Kebhouze has set its sights on London and it’s coming in big, taking over a three-floor space on Oxford Street to open what will be the largest kebab house in the UK. And it’s not just gonna be about the food, with arcade games, table football and street art from Philip Colbert aka The Lobster all featuring inside the building.

Though it’s being billed as a kebab house, the Kebhouze menu is more akin to generic fast food joints, with wraps, burgers, healthy bowls, nuggets, fries, onion rings and even kids’ Kebby Meals on offer. Whatever form you want your food to come in, it centres around four different proteins – chicken, beef, veal & turkey, and Planted (made from pea protein) – with additional toppings including bacon, cheddar cheese and olives, so traditional this is not.

It sounds like Kebhouze is to kebabs what Oxford Street’s American candy stores are to sweets, and given that we’re not exactly short of places to get authentic kebabs in London, it’s hard to see this as anything other than a tourist trap.

Opens Thurs 21st December 2023
159 Oxford Street, London W1D 2JL
