Yes a vegan butcher is an oxymoron but that hasn’t stopped the Rudy’s Vegan Diner team from opening one anyway, and it’s gonna be the first permanent one in the entire country. Rudy’s Vegan Butcher is swinging open its doors on Upper Street on 1st November, which just so happens to be World Vegan Day, and they’re giving away 100 lbs of free baycon to celebrate.
Once you’ve picked up your free slices, you’ll be able to shop from a whole range of meat-free products including Rudy’s homemade pastrami, vegan smoked ham, dirty burger patties, cheeze sauce, chilli-non-carne, chick’n lover pate, lobstah salad, shredded BBQ pulled porc, black puddin’ and soysage patties. You can even get a roast turk’y for your plant-based Christmas table. And you can order all of that online for nationwide delivery too so all you non-London based vegans can get in on the action.
