Get your skates on and head for Rollerscape this winter
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express is rolling back into the capital next summer but if you can’t wait that long for a bit of skating action, we’ve got some good news. Rollerscape, the UK’s first immersive roller rink, will be popping up at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from November to March, giving you the chance to have a whizz around before the performers take over the space.
As well as the indoor roller rink decked out with disco balls, Rollerscape will also include a Winter Hall with a huge Christmas tree and Santa’s sleigh; a heated outdoor terrace with a firepit for toasting marshmallows; two bars serving up seasonal bevvies like boozy hot chocolate and mulled wine; and a food menu of loaded nachos, burgers, hot dogs and pizzas from the theatre’s Studio Five restaurant.
If you’re looking for somewhere for your Christmas party, Rollerscape certainly fits the bill but with everything from Taylor Swift Sundays to 80s and 90s nights on the programme, you’ll have plenty of reasons to swing by for a skate once the holidays are over.
