The Team Behind ZOILO Has Opened Argentine Pizza Restaurant Florencio Pizza

The new pizza spot is just around the corner from ZOILO in Marylebone

With ZOILO, which he opened in Marylebone in 2012, Chef Patron Diego Jacquet has been showcasing the produce and the flavours he grew up with in Buenos Aires and Patagonia. Now he’s spotlighting the influence of Italian immigrants on Argentine food and his own personal take on pizza with his new restaurant Florencio Pizza, which has just opened around the corner from ZOILO.

Diego’s pizzas are made from 48-hour fermented dough featuring a special blend of flours and topped with premium cheeses and tomatoes alongside other top seasonal ingredients, like fior di latte, provolone & parmesan for the Muzza, a BA take on a Margherita, and onions, provolone, spicy honey & oregano for the Fugazza. As for dessert? Banana split ice cream with chocolate chips and dulce de leche all the way.

Sebastien Guilleminault has curated an Italian & French wine list for Florencio though the cellar is home to a selection of bottles from the Argentine-heavy list at ZOILO, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding something to pair with your slices.
