THE TEAM BEHIND PARSONS AND THE 10 CASES IS OPENING EUROPEAN CAFE BAUDRY GREENE

The new cafe will also be on Endell Street in Covent Garden

Will Palmer and Ian Campbell already run a seafood restaurant and a wine bar on Endell Street and now the duo are adding a cafe to their Covent Garden collection with Baudry Greene. Named after Will and Ian’s wives’ respective maiden names (Parsons was named after their mothers’ shared maiden name), Baudry Greene will be an all-day cafe and bar with a Franco-European-inspired food menu.

That means you can stop by for coffee, pastries, tartine au beurre, and a Bavarian breakfast plate (with speck, ham, gruyere and pretzel roll) in the morning; and watercress soup, tuna niçoise salad, gravadlax & rye bread, jambon beurre, roast chicken & smoked tomato sandwiches, and cheese & onion tart during the day. And with a range of excellent-sounding sweets, like lavender shortbread, brandied prune choc ice, and blackberry & pistachio custard tart, on the menu you’ll want to save room for dessert.

There are wines and classic cocktails like the Sidecar, Negroni, French 75 and Vodka Martini on the all-day menu, but come evening they’re joined by an expanded spirits list and snacks such as ndjua sausage rolls & honey, gildas, truffled eggs and parmesan & gruyere bites. Baudry Greene will even be running a condensed takeaway offering – what more could you want from a cafe?
