The Team Behind Bad Manners Has Opened a New Spot in Canonbury

The cult favourite for al fresco tacos is branching out into new territory

For nearly two years now, Bad Manners (FKA Quarter Kitchen) has been serving up what’s often extolled as the best Mexican food in London from a kiosk in the churchyard outside St John at Hackney. Now, the team has announced that they’ve opened a second spot, this time just outside Canonbury station. And they’re staying on theme with the new site – it’s also a kiosk, called Good Manners.

The Good Manners team (made up of Max Fishman, of Quarter Store, and chef Rodrigo Cervantes, formerly of Smoking Goat, Dom’s Subs and Kiln) has nailed the menu over at their E8 site, and they’re bringing a taste of the OG to their new neighbourhood. You can now grab both their classic sausage and black bean burritos at Good Manners, from 12pm on Wednesdays – Fridays and from 10.30am at the weekends.

St. JOHN Bakery is also stocking Good Manners with pastries which are currently up for grabs every day (except for Mondays). You can also drop by for a coffee; their house espresso is from Plot roasters and they’ll have rotating roasters on batch brew. Sounds like all you Canonbury commuters will be lucky to have this as your go-to.
