year The Quality Chop House closed its doors for the last time (or so we thought) and Meatballs moved in. Well now Meatballs has moved out and The Quality Chop House is reopening on Monday 12th November – well that was quick wasn’t it. Although it shouldn’t have been too hard as Meatballs did keep most of the old interiors given that it was a Grade II listed Victorian dining room.

The new Quality Chop House will serve laid back lunches while supper will be a 5-course set menu with wine pairings available. Courses will be based around sharing with the menu considering the whole beast, sustainable fish and seasonal vegetables from a team led by head chef Shaun Searley. Reservations will be taken for lunch and dinner – shock horror!

There will also be a wine bar next door, with a list of 90 wines which will change monthly, serving small plates and takeaway sarnies. Oh and they promise each bottle will only have a £5 mark-up. Looking for somewhere special then head upstairs to the private dining room. Looks like this one might be better second time round…
