On October 11th for 3 days only, The Pop Up Flea lands in London for their first ever event outside of New York…That’s a pretty big deal!!
The Pop Up Flea started way back in 2009 over a heavy night on the cocktails. Two guys sat in a bar and decided they couldn’t get decent clobber anywhere in the city. So under the influence they thought up the idea of a Pop-up which housed the best menswear around, and in there own words ‘an ever changing collection of new and vintage menswear goods. It’s a shop that opens one weekend at a time. A meeting of the menswear minds. It involves, in no specific order: good people, better things, expert craftsmanship, exercises in refinement, brands you love, up-and-coming designers, and menswear done right’. Sounds good to us!
The line up is pretty stellar, with big name pulls such as Levi’s Made & Crafted, Red Wing Heritage and our personal favs – Shinola, who not only make great watches but amazing city friendly bikes too. We’ll take ours in blue thanks.
It’s great to see menswear in focus for a change…the girlies get all the good stuff usually!! If you want to find something rare this side of the pond, then head down to the Pop Up Flea at 211/214 Piccadilly. Ooh we love a bit of NYLON!
