lookie what we have here a new gastro-pub in Islington in what was the Islington Tap pub named The Pig and The Butcher. The pub will offer rustic food, meat direct from the farm butchered on site and grilled over wood on the hand built Robata Grill, hand pulled ales, fish from day boats off the South coast, 20 craft bottled beers and rustic wines from boutique producers.

The Pig and The Butcher is the latest joint from the group who have The Princess of Shoreditch and the recently opened The Lady Ottoline in Bloomsbury. Not exact opening date yet but looks like it could be pretty soonish – watch this space…
