The Peckham Weekender returns for its third year, bringing together 19 of SE15’s best restaurants for a weekend of £10 specials – all in support of a good cause.
Led by local favourite Mr Bao, the event sees spots across the neighbourhood serving up exclusive dishes for a tenner, with £1 from every special donated to Peckham Pantry, a community food club helping low-income families access affordable groceries.
Getting involved this year are Mr Bao, Lai Rai, Forza Wine, Peckham Cellars, NOLA, Rye Lane Bagels, Taca Taco, Bà Ba, 081 Peckham, Kruk, Connie’s, Ganapati, Maiz, Bara, Cöödie, En Root, Janda Diner, Shorty’s and Rice Paddy.
Expect everything from a BBQ mackerel plate at Mr Bao and a crispy pork belly banh mi from Lai Rai, to cauliflower fritti and wine at Forza Wine and a fried squid brioche at Peckham Cellars. Elsewhere, there’s spicy egg mayo brioche at NOLA, Wagyu-style brisket melts at Rye Lane Bagels, swordfish tostadas at Taca Taco, summer rolls at Bà Ba, pizza at 081 Peckham, sai oua salad at Kruk, pastrami slices at Connie’s, cookies at Cöödie, cocktails at Shorty’s, and Lanna fried chicken wings at Rice Paddy – plus plenty more across Ganapati, Maiz, Bara, En Root and Janda Diner.
It’s a celebration of Peckham’s diverse food scene, with long-standing favourites and newer openings all getting involved for one flavour-packed weekend.
