up this weekend, The Other Art Fair will be popping up at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, allowing art fans to purchase unique individual works and meet the artists responsible for creating them. Open from Thursday 17th until Sunday 20th October, the artists will be selling their work themselves, allowing you to find original artworks and undiscovered talent.

Aside from the art, the fair also includes live music and DJ sets, food and drink, performance art and perhaps most interestingly of all, taxidermy classes. Demonstrations on the art of stuffing and mounting animals take place on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with classes taking place during Friday, Saturday and Sunday daytimes – book ahead for your place! Leading art book publisher Phaidon will also be launching their new book ‘Wild Art’, a study of alternative art including everything from giant sandcastles to tattoos.

Various food stalls will be providing everything from cupcakes to salad, and live music will incorporate everything from acoustic singer songwriters to contemporary DJs. Tickets are £6 in advance.
