Only Fools and Horses is celebrating its 40th anniversary this September and there’s only one way to honour such a milestone – with a pint in the Nags Head. And that’s exactly what you’ll be able to do as TV channel Gold is recreating the iconic pub, so you can pop in for a drink and live out some of your fave moments in Del Boy, Rodney, Trigger, Boycie and the gang’s local. The pub will be open for one weekend ahead of the channel turning back time and showing the very first episode of the sitcom at 8.30pm on 8th September, which is the exact date and time it first aired way back in 1981.
The pub will be selling pints at the 1980s price of 83p, along with creme de menthe, Britvic orange and other classic bevs from the era plus bar snacks like pork scratchings, scampi fries and Cheeselets. There’ll also be an Only Fools and Horses pub quiz running with a spesh prize up for grabs, so make sure you brush up on your trivia. It’s FREE to attend, just make sure you book a table in advance. Lovely jubbly.
