in London, we are no strangers to a good old British downpour but enough is enough – if The Notwist’s new video is anything to go by, we just have to bring in King Kong’s pink mate and we’ll have to find something other than the rain to complain about like queues, tube strikes or how everyone on The Voice is shit.

The track has vibes of The Strokes with an electronic twist and the video is a classic King Kong tale in the style of an animated ad from the 60’s.

The album, ‘Close to the Glass’, will be released through City Slang on February 24th and the band will be embarking on a UK tour in March – and if it’s still raining like it is now, they’ll be havin’ a little bit of déjà vu.
