A Grade-II listed building that was originally used for guests of King Charles back in 1665, The Mitre in Hampton Court is opening as a 36 bedroom hotel this September as part of the new boutique luxury hotel brand The Signet Collection. Set right on the banks of the river, the property also features an orangery, a riverside terrace and two waterfront restaurants, the all-day dining 1665 and brasserie Coppernose, and both of these are opening ahead of the hotel on Bank Holiday Monday.
As well as giving guests a sneak peek of what to expect from the rest of the hotel, the restaurants will be offering a two-course menu for £20, which will be available for £10 thanks to the Eat Out To Help Out scheme – now that’s a Bank Holiday bargain.
