If you wish you could stare at the moon you might like to know of a little retreat high above street level that will give you welcome relief from the folk in shopping zombie frenzy mode.

The Lunar Lookout, housed on the rooftop of John Lewis is a place where you can literally gaze at the sky (who knows just who you might spot – if you believe they put a man on the moon), take refuge in their cosy cabins and snack on food. It’s all very Christmassy and nice and has that smell that takes you back to your childhood. Just remember, you can’t stay up there forever, deep breath and get back in the game.
