the luna cinema is back for 2019

It seems we just can’t get enough of watching films al fresco because The Luna Cinema is back this summer with its biggest season to date – over 175 nights of cinema under the stars! Taking their big screens around some of London’s most spectacular locations, like Kensington Palace, Kenwood House, Westminster Abbey, Hampton Court Palace and the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, this year’s programme includes a fantastic mix of classics and hit new releases.

You can watch some of the biggest recent releases including The Favourite, A Star is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again; old faves like Grease, Pretty Woman and Some Like It Hot; and there’ll be special screenings of Mary Poppins Returns at Victoria Tower Gardens (the nearby Houses of Parliament feature in the film’s climax) and The Young Victoria at Kensington Palace to mark the 200th anniversary of her birth.
